Your hosts are Lou and Paula Meeuwenberg, both lifelong residents of Fremont. With two quiet rooms, The Sheridan House is the perfect retreat for couples traveling together whether to enjoy a relaxing evening or weekend away. This non-smoking inn is located on the northwest side of Fremont Lake, a beautiful 800-acre all-sports. It is conveniently close to the downtown, walking/bike paths and the beauty that is common in Newaygo County. After exiting at ground level, our guests walk a mere 100 feet down the brick path to the lake's edge. A paddle boat and lifejackets are available to enjoy the water. In any season, however, the mile-long views and morning sunrise across this lake are inspiring and relaxing.
